On behalf of the Board of Education and staff, welcome to the Wilmot Union High School District! My name is Dr. Michael Plourde, and I take great pride in serving as the district administrator. Our mission is to prepare college, career, and civic ready graduates, and we do that through comprehensive academic and co-curricular programs. I am originally from Marquette, Michigan and currently reside in the Rockford, Illinois area. I earned my undergraduate degree in secondary mathematics education from Northern Michigan University. Additionally, I earned a masters degree in educational leadership and a doctorate in educational administration from Aurora University.
I have worked in public education for 19 years. My wife is a health teacher, and we have three school age children.
