Army of Two: The 40th Day was released January 10th this year and was anticipated to be an amazing game. The first Army of Two was a great game, full of incredible graphics and fun game-play, as you could customize your weapons, masks , and armor. The 40th Day, however, lacked somewhat of an ingenuity or craftiness for adding on to all that.
Some players of this game said that the makers of the game didn’t really take the fact that players wanted new plots and exciting new features. Although it is a truly fun game, it didn’t quite grab the attention everyone thought it was going to get.

Army of Two: The 40th Day Game Cover
According to Gamezone.com, they gave it a review with these categories and their scoring from 1 to 10, ten being the best:

Overall, Army of Two: The 40th Day is a visually stunning, very fun to play, multiplayer shooter. The 40th Day is rated ”
M” by the ESRB for Mature.

Are we paying too much?
Everyone loves the holidays–except Mr. Scrooge. However, is it more profitable to be a Scrooge in the holiday season? Sure, many people love to show how much they care in the holidays by giving out the best gifts to the people they really care about. No doubt most readers can only admit that they look forward to see what they got from anyone and everyone. But just how much money did we spend as teenagers? A large of teenagers do have jobs in which they have some cash to go and spend on others, but some teens just don’t have the money to spend for Christmas. From a survey of 15 teenagers(all of high school level), the amount of money spent on other people–both family and friends–and the number of people bought for was researched. It averaged at about $17 per person. It is truly astounding that students in high school spend $17 on each person they buy for. For some people, thats nearly a tank of gas. So, that means you would have to choose between a tank of gas or a present for a friend–a truly tough choice in deed. And on average, students surveyed bought for a total of 5 people. So, on average, people spent nearly $85 this Christmas. When thinking about that, that is only $15 of $100! In some cases, that is the amount of a paycheck. Maybe the new year resolution for the masses is to save so that we don’t go broke next Christmas.
Tomorrow, Saturday January 9th, DECA students from many different school will be competing in many categories such as Retail, Food, Sports, Full Service, Apparel, and many more. Students compete in front of judges to potentially earn ribbons or medals. Few students are then selected to move on to state to compete. Our very own, Travis Wetzel has had many past experiences with DECA and has judged numerous DECA competitions. Tomorrow’s competition will take place at Kettle Moraine High School. We wish all of tomorrows competitors best of luck.

Custodian Shoveling Parking Lots
Yesterday there was a blizzard that cancelled all after school functions. There were no sport practices or sport events and the faculty left at 3:00 p.m. The school was completely shut down after 3:30. Many students and some teachers felt that we should of had a snow day today but we are here in class still. As of right now the sport events that were cancelled have not been rescheduled and will be made up later in the season.
We often find ourselves making the most drastic resolutions come New Year’s, but how often do we actually keep them and stick to them? Here are some popular New Year’s resolutions that people usually make according to usa.gov:

Happy New Year!
1. Get a better education
2. Eat healthier/Get fit
3. Do voulenteer work
4. Save money
5. Manage debt
6. Reduce stress overall
Research shows that in a resolution study, only 52% of the participants actually went through with there resolutions, with only 12% actually achieving their goals. Only 22 percent of the men achieved their resolution using goal setting methods like lose a pound a week instead of “lose weight”. As the old saying goes: “Resolutions may come and go, but Lifestyles last forever, meaning that if you dont make your resolution a lifestyle choice, rather than a fling, you are most likely going to fail or quit.
