Seeking Volunteers

Wilmot Union High School is looking for volunteers for projects that stretch beyond individual classrooms. Volunteering gives you an opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives, while enhancing your own. Everyone possesses skills that are valuable to our school community. Some of the things you can do to contribute are…

  • Assist with supervision and tutoring of students in our Tutoring Center
  • Support and chaperone special events, activities, and field trips
  • Supervise and assist with after-school programs
  • Provide office support, especially for special events such as Registration, Pantherfest, Expo, and Parent / Teacher Conferences
  • Become involved with school leadership, co-curricular activities and guest speaking in classrooms

You can decide how much time you would like to spend and what fits into your schedule.  If you can afford to give a few hours of your time please call Deb Border at Wilmot at 262-862-2351 ext. 318. We thank you in advance for volunteering your time and skills and we look forward to working with you.

Think about it, the possibilities are endless!

Discover Italy and France in the summer of 2011!

Traveling is an excellent way to broaden students’ education outside the classroom.  Mrs. Deborah Fragale, Language Arts Department Chair and teacher, is planning her fourth student trip to Italy and France for June, 2011.  This unforgettable travel experience is planned through Explorica, a worldwide educational travel company. This 10-day tour of northern Italy and France includes visits to Venice, Florence, Verona, Siena, Pisa, Monaco, Nice, and Paris.  From St. Mark’s Square in Venice to a cruise on the Seine in Paris under the Eiffel Tower, this unforgettable trip will have students smiling like Mona Lisa for years to come. To view the detailed itinerary and to sign-up visit the Explorica website at www.myexplorica.com/Fragale-7837 or contact Explorica at 1-888-310-7120 and mention the tour Fragale-7837. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Fragale at 262/862-2351 extension 148 or at fragaled@wilmoths.k12.wi.us.   When school is not in session, you can contact Mrs. Fragale at deborahfragale@yahoo.com.  Parents, relatives, friends and community members are welcome, too!
