The varsity softball team flexed its muscles on Saturday by winning the prestigious 8-team Chippewa Falls Invitational, which included most of the top teams in the state. The Panthers defeated 2010 state champ and #13-ranked Kaukauna, 4-1, in the first round.  In the semi-finals, the Panthers knocked off host and #3-ranked Chippewa Falls, 10-5. The championship game saw a rematch of last year’s state championship game, and Wilmot’s Kristen Wood no-hit #6-ranked Stevens Point, 8-0.  Great job, girls!

Tuesday, a share of the conference championship is on the line as the Panthers host rival Westosha Central at 4:30. The Falcons knocked off the Panthers earlier in the year, and the Panthers need to win for a chance to share the conference title. Come on out and support the Wilmot softball team Tuesday in their quest for the conference title!
